I'm sorry...

So Brian Lara has apologised for his team's unceremonious exit from the World Cup. Big whoop. Given the details of the team's lack of preparation for the tournament, sensible people would not have given them a snowball's chance in hell but suffice it to say west indian people real hardened.
I'm just trying to figure out how on earth I'll get rid of the 800 windshield stickers branded with lara's image that I have in my office!...:(

West Indies

Current score - South Africa...204 for 2. For those of you who understand cricket, you'll know that in a one-day match, with West Indies bowling, these figures not to good for us.
West Indies hafta win this game to have any chance of getting to the semi-finals of the Cricket World Cup.
Too bad the last time we won a game was almost a month ago. we're on a losing streak and it will take a miracle to start winning again.
many people can't even look at the game. i'm listening on the radio but trying to to pay too much attention. ah go get vex because it doh sound like de west indies trying at all. ah go get more vex if ah watch de tv.
we support our team but a serious shake up is required...heads must roll!

We're on the Web!

Hi all:

This first post is to let you know that this blog will contain.
Essentially, it will focus on substance abuse issues, as discussed on the radio programme, Eye on Dependency (www.i995fm.com).
Assitionally, I will rant about goings-on in Trinidad and Tobago (where I born and grow) as well as global events and personalities.
This is my first foray (late tho it may be) into the world of blogging. Hoping to stir up and contribute to some interesting thought and debate.

See u around
